We are Helios Dev, a remote-first company building tools used by thousands of teams worldwide. Our engineering team is growing and we need a Staff Software Engineer to help us reach the next level. You will work alongside a senior team with high standards and a strong culture.
What You'll Do:
- Improve system reliability, performance, and observability
- Identify and address technical debt to keep the codebase healthy
- Lead code reviews and mentor engineers across the team
- Participate in on-call rotations and lead incident response efforts
- Drive architectural decisions aligned with long-term product goals
What We're Looking For:
- Recognized expertise that spans multiple teams or domains
- History of influencing technical or product strategy at scale
- Exceptional mentorship and organizational leadership skills
- Ability to work on ambiguous problems with limited direction
- 8+ years of experience with increasing scope and impact
